Heading back home from my 3 days trip in Bangkok, I have mixed feelings about my experience. I was aware that Thailand is a touristy destination but the crowdedness that I’ve seen is beyond my imagination.
First thing first, food is the best part of Thailand. There is no doubt that even you choose a random stall on the streets the food is as tasty as in a nice restaurant. Every day I ate tom yum goong: chicken tom yum, seafood tom yum (red color and white color), then mango sticky rice which is sweet but it has salty tasty as well, so it tastes strange at first but the more you eat, the more you like it. The BBQ was also good, you should go to China Town, there is a long alley of seafood BBQ freshly cooked. I love fresh juice which is available everywhere and is the perfect pick for the super hot and dry weather in Bangkok.
One more lovely thing – cats in Bangkok. They are either freely walking on the streets or taken care by local people. I saw an old lady sitting on the ground giving her only seat to her calico cat. And some other litter friends that I encountered in 3 days.
